CHICKEN CHOWDER

3 lbs. chicken,
16 oz. frozen mixed veggies
16 oz. frozen peas,
16 oz. frozen lima beans,
1 qt. canned tomatoes,
3 cups celery,
3 cups carrots,
2 cups chopped onion,
1 can corn,
1 bunch chopped parsley,
paprika,
6 med. potatoes-chunked

Put in crock pot, cover with water, 4-6 hours. Makes 10 quarts.

 

Ground Chicken or Turkey Soup

2 tbsp. olive oil,
1 lb lean Ground Turkey or Chicken(3/4" cubed),
2 cloves garlic minced,
1 med. onion-chopped,
4 cups carrots-sliced,
1 cup celery-sliced,
10 cups water,
2 tbsp. chicken seasoning,
2 tsp. thyme,
1 tsp. pepper,
1 tsp. oregano,
1 lb. spiral pasta.


CROCKPOT CHILI

1 lb ground turkey or chicken
2 cloves garlic
3 teaspoons chili powder
half tsp. cumin
15oz can kidney beans (drained)
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup red onion
1 16oz can tomatoes
1 10oz can tomatoes with basil or garlic

Add 1 cup of rice with one cup veg broth the last 30 minutes until rice is tender

Put in Crock Pot cook all day.

 

SPLIT PEA SOUP

3 ripe or canned tomatoes
1 large leek
1 1/2 cups dried split peas
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 carrot peeled chuncks
1 celery stalk, chunks
6 cups veg stalk
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 fresh parsley sprigs
3 fresh thyme sprigs
1 bay leaf
2 orange zest strips (using paring knife, cut almost parallel to the
fruit's skin, do not cut any white pith with it.)
1 whole clove
freshly ground pepper.

Put in Crock pot, cover with water, cook until peas are tender.
